Many academic resources are available to engineering students that will aid them during their time at the University of Manitoba.
You can sell your used textbooks back to the University Bookstore at 50% of its listed price. Used books are available for purchase at 75% of its listed price as well.
You can also buy or sell textbooks through the UMES Textbook Exchange website.
An alternative is The University of Manitoba Archives Book Exchange, located beneath the Helen Glass Center at 170 University Center. Here, students set their own prices for their used books. When another student chooses to buy your book, Archives will take 20% of the sale, and you will receive the remaining funds.
Many Engineering Student Groups have archives of past exams that their members can access. This is a valuable resource that students should take advantage of since exams for courses are very similar throughout the years, and studying the format and marking of the exams can give you insight as to what to expect.
