Scholarships

Many scholarships are available to engineering students that recognize their academic, leadership, volunteer, and extracurricular achievements. Over $75,000 of scholarships are available to engineering students from all years and all disciplines. University of Manitoba Scholarships of Note:

Arthur V. Mauro Senior Student Award
Criteria: Is seeking admission to the U of M Faculty of Graduate Studies for the first year of graduate studies which will be within three years of having completed your undergraduate degree
Deadline: March 31st, 2010

Sustainable Development Scholarship
Due: 4:00pm May 7, 2010

C.D. Howe Memorial Foundation Engineering Scholarship Program
Criteria: 1st year student
Due: Applications must be submitted by the Dean's office by June 1, 2010. Interested applicants should talk to the Dean's office prior to that date

SAP Scholarship
Emphasis on community involvement.
Due: June 2010

Electro-Federation Canada
Criteria: Studying in the areas of Electrical, Electronics or Telecommunications
Due: July 1, 2010

Canadian Urban Transit Association Centennial Scholarship
Criteria: Undergraduate student must be pursuing a career in Public Transit or other related fields such as Urban Planning, Engineering, Environmental Studies, Land Use Planning, Transportation /Transportation Management and Geography.
Due: August 27, 2010
