University of Manitoba direct entrance engineering students attend a two-day orientation called EngO during the same time as University 1 Orientation. There, students are introduced to other direct entry students and learn about life as a University of Manitoba Engineering student. The two-day event comprises of information sessions, a barbeque, a campus tour, a design competition, and fun evening events. In addition to meeting other first year students, many engineering students from various years will be present and will be able to answer some of your questions and provide you with some insight as to what’s to come.
