In the event you have a problem or concern related to your academic performance in a course, the first thing you should do is discuss it with your professor.

If talking to your professor does not resolve the problem, you may try voicing your opinions either at a Bear Pit Session (see Events - Academics), or through a UMES Council organized petition.

The Vice Stick Academic (VSA) is a full time academic advocate for engineering students. She can act as a neutral third party in writing and circulating petitions. She may also help by raising the matter with the appropriate department head on your behalf.
